Hi! I'm Caitlin

A passionate Instructional Designer who combines creativity, technology, and a love for lifelong learning. I create training that both engages and informs; transforming complex ideas into easy-to-understand, practical knowledge.

Expertise and Skills

My technical expertise spans various tools and platforms, including Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360 for designing immersive eLearning courses with interactive elements, accessible layouts, and engaging features. I also utilize Canva to create visually appealing job aids and learning materials. Competent in Google Workspace, Microsoft, Slack, and Zoom, I maintain effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the design process. Driven by a passion for continuous learning, I stay updated on emerging trends and technologies to deliver high-quality, performance-oriented solutions tailored to learner needs.

I discovered instruction design as the perfect combination of my love for storytelling, problem-solving, and delving into the cognitive processes that shape how we learn.

Outside of ID

Beyond instructional design, I love creating clothing, from concept to pattern drafting and finally production. This is a family hobby that was passed to me by both my mother and grandmother. It brings me a lot of joy.

AIDA

The Applied Instructional Design Academy is a comprehensive program designed to equip learners with essential skills in Instructional Design Fundamentals, Articulate Rise, Storyline, eLearning Development, and Instructional Design Process. Throughout the program, participants engage in over 400 lessons, receive extensive coaching, and complete a series of rigorous learning activities. These activities involve hands-on practice, feedback, multiple revisions, and simulated client projects, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
